I have studied various disciplines at several universities and am also largely self-taught. I have done chemistry research at Washington University in St. Louis. My areas of interest are economics, psychology, skepticism, evolution, pharmacology, politics, and science. I am the founding member of the Ladue Video Gaming Club at the high school I attended (Ladue Hortkin Watkins High School). In my spare time, I greatly enjoy discrediting pseudoscience! As you read this blog, you will quickly find that I am very progressive as well as an avid atheist.
Oh, and some might wonder about the name, Teaching the Controversy (TTC). This is what we call satire. I maintain that as long as creationists want the made-up controversy to be taught then they should also encourage the other controversies. Notably, Stork-Theory, Flat Earth Theory, and Intelligent Falling among other “non-controversies.
